ifilm star joins new series

ifilm popular star, Mehraveh Sharifinia, has joined Manouchehr Hadi’s latest series ‘Heart' (Del).

The series is currently on the preproduction stage and will soon kick off shooting in Tehran.

Written by Babak and Maytham Kaydan, the series is a romantic drama and revolves around two people who have been separated.

Hamed Behdad, Saeed Rad and Sareh Bayat will also appear in the series.

Mehraveh Sharifinia made her film debut at the age of eight in Mohammad-Reza Honarmand’s 'Doll Thief' (1989).

She has so far appeared in movies such as 'Masoumeh' (1999), 'A Girl Named Tondar' (2000), 'Look at Me' (2000), 'Nightmare' (2008), 'The Outcasts 2' (2008), 'If it Rains' (2008), 'A Simple Romance' (2010), 'A Line of Truth' (2010), 'The Stories' (2011), and 'Story of My Father's Love' (2012).

She has also acted in series such as 'Imam Ali (AS)' (1995), 'Day of Envy' (2008), 'The Chef' (2009), 'Heart of Ice' (2010), 'Goodbye Child' (2012), and 'Kimia' (2015).

Sharifinia has won the Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role from the Film Critics & Writers Association for 'There’s Nothing Going on Behind the Door' in 2010 and Award for Best Actress in TV series for 'Goodbye Child’ from Image World Celebration in 2014.
